Bloody

True Blood is truly one of the worst television shows I have ever seen.  Because Kelly insists on watching it (even though he admits it is terrible), I have now sat through two seasons of it.  It has some of the worst acting imaginable, predictable plot lines, and terrible dialogue writing.

I have to admit that when I was in Junior High I was pretty obsessed with vampires.  I read any books with vampires in the plot.  I was also obsessed with Christian Slater, so when Interview with a Vampire came out I was very thrilled.

This new batch of vampire obsession centered around the Twilight craze has less than interested me.  However, I sat down to watch True Blood because it was on HBO.  I love HBO series including SATC and Entourage.  This show is not even worthy to be on television at all let alone HBO.  The only cool part about the show is the opening titles and some of the marketing graphics.  This picture almost displays how bad the acting is.

This show has completely turned me away from anything with vampire and human relationships.  They just seem so campy and are not at all meant to be scary like their predecessors or science fiction like others.  They are just cheesy and predictable praying on fantasies of young women who fantasize about rough lovin'.  I just hope this phase ends soon.
